The first generation of the ALPHA laser cutting machine worked with short beam paths thanks to the semi-flying optics and the integrated laser resonator. Maximum cost-effectiveness was made possible by high travel, positioning and piercing speeds (high speed piercing). The advantageous machine concept ensured efficient extraction; parts were easily disposed of via the parts flap.
